“Adah!!” a little girl screamed as she jumped out of her car. She was running as fast as her legs could carry her. Her arms open wide and her eyes fixed on her friend. Adah ran towards her and the two met in a hug.
Hugs and smiles were thrown around like confetti last night on the opening night of TeamKids. Forty-seven children ages 3 through High School gathered to worship Jesus, have snacks, make crafts, and play games. Some have been coming since they were 3 years old, but others were new. Some were dropped off by their parents, and others rode the church van. Everyone was welcome. Everyone had a great time.
We are thankful for the volunteers that make TeamKids such a success.
We encourage you to come and hang out with us if you don’t already. And if you do, bring a friend. We can never have too many.
